The Rankine Group
For technicians working in the power generation, the Rankine Process is well known to indicate the water steam cycle. This process includes the boiler, steam turbine, condenser, dearator, piping, it's auxiliaries and automation.
The Rankine Group members have their roots in engineering, building and maintaining within this process. When our customers have a need for multidisciplinary services, they work together with their trusted and committed partner companies. Some projects require few partners, others more. To be able to meet those multidisciplinary requirements we have organized ourselves in what we call The Rankine GroupTM. Our name demonstrates that together, we cover all aspects required to engineer, build and maintain these installations. From the process engineering up to the commissioning, operating and maintaining.
The first project we performed as such has been the Omrin Waste to Energy plant in NL-Harlingen. Together with ECM we were invited by the local authorities to develop the project for a grass root WtE plant. This started with the program of demands, requirements, organizing the European tender up to the management of the project and construction (starting beginning of 2009). It was then that we decided to found The Rankine Group and to present ourselves together as the pragmatic alternative for renown E&C companies as par example and among others Tebodin or Royal Haskoning.

- Pragmatic, experienced from bottoms-up engineers, project and construction engineers. All employees and management originate from the execution level, ensuring pragmatism and efficiency. Fast and cost effectiveness are key words.
- Absence of redundant overhead organization. We work together only when the projects requires so. Every member of the group is lean and mean, surviving in their own core business. We do not have to maintain a permanent, overall management organization.
- No hiding of subcontractors and experience (preventing the parrot effect). Each member is known to the customer and will be direct assessable for him. There is no need for pretending. Each member does what he is good at.
Focus on the scope you are best at.
Working together when it's needed and beneficial to all parties involved.
